Hello, the death of a parent is a very difficult thing and the grieving process can take a longer time depending on a person's ability to cope, the kind of support system they have and their ability to process and accept this loss. There is no specific timeline as to when one should have healed and accepted the loss. Grief and loss usually has this stages, denial, anger, bargaining, depression and finally acceptance. Be there for her as she goes through this stages because each has a lot of emotional turmoil and sometimes one can go back to a stage they had already gone through. Be there for this person even as they seek for professional help.
They could try online counseling, and I will give you a voucher code for this to allow them a free session. The voucher code is Bonga2020 , and they can access the online counseling at Inuka Wellness, which is an app they can download from Google play store for free and get to talk to an expert anonymously in a nonjudgemental space.
We hope she is able to find healing

Thanks so much for your reply.

Us her family and friends are doing our part by letting her know she can count on us for support but at time we feel questions she asked such as why the dad didn't fight hard enough to survive the accident etc will never get answers and so we worried that she might do something to hurt herself if not worse God forbid...She's young and beautiful if only she can move past whys and see a whole life await ahead of her..if only,we are praying and hoping for the best!!
